Referral Rewards

We know that if you are happy with our service, you will tell others. If you are not happy with our service, you will also tell others. Since the number one reason people subscribe to our service is because they were referred by someone else, we know we must be doing something right. That is why we came up with the idea of Referral Rewards.

We started giving a one-time credit to our customer's accounts when they referred someone to us. Some people kept sending us so many new customers that they rarely had to pay for Internet service at all. Some of these subscribers asked if we could give them a recurring credit and if they could earn money if they not only referred someone but if the person they referred also referred people. We thought that sounded like a great idea! We like it when people send us business and we certainly don't mind rewarding those who do. If fact, if someone refers us to someone that refers 100 people to us, we feel they should be rewarded for that.

We also understand that even though Internet service is relatively inexpensive when compared to other forms of entertainment or business expenses, people still want it to be either free or pay very little. We haven't been able to figure out how to make it free for everyone to use, stay in business and pay our costs (equipment, excellent technical support, bandwidth, phone charges and marketing, etc...). We have, however, figured out how to do this for anyone that helps us build our business and refers people. That is the beauty of Referral Rewards.

Here is how Referral Rewards basically works:

  1. You must be an active unmetered dial-up customer of ours.
  2. You earn $2.00 per month for each person that signs up for our unmetered dial-up service for as long as they are a customer and pay their bill.
  3. If the person that you refer refers someone, you not only earn the $2.00/month (tier 1) from them, you earn $1.50 extra from whomever they refer (tier 2).
  4. You can earn money on up to 4 tiers. Tier 3 and 4 are paid out as $1.00/month and $0.50/month respectively.
  5. Money earned is applied to your Internet account first and any extra is paid out on a quarterly basis when the amount reach $50.00 or more.
  6. You must abide by our Referral Reward Rules.

In the above example, we are assuming you are successful in referring 15 people who sign up for SurfWithUs.net Unmetered Dial-up Internet service. If those people refer an average of another 4 people who in turn refer an average of 3 people who refer an average of 3 more people, you will earn $570.00 per month in Referral Rewards.

That is not a bad side income, right? What if you are able to refer 100 people to SurfWithUs.net, who in turn refer new customers as in the previous example? The monthly commission soars to a whopping $3,800.00 per month! As you can see, the numbers can grow very quickly. While these numbers may not be typical for everyone, an aggressive person can make a good living by creatively seeking out referrals (ex: banner ads on high traffic website, storefront, newspaper advertising, etc). Another way to be successful is to find one or two people (or organizations) that will refer a lot of people.

We realize that a many people now have broadband Internet available (cable or DSL) and that many people might not need dial-up Internet access anymore. What happens when they travel? Can they take that with them? Do they really know how much they are paying each year to have this high speed service?
